  2020-2021 School Year Update
The Government has not instructed the School Boards how the schools will operate for the year 2020-2021. We would like the parents to Register as soon as possible for the Socrates Hellenic School program.

This will assist the School Board to take the necessary steps to get ready for the operation of the school.

The parents and guardians at this stage do not have to pay any Registration Fees until we have the guidelines in place for the safety of everyone.

The scheduled start date is TBD as we look at alternative delivery methods.

The early Registration will enable us to plan for the school year.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Registration: 2020-2021 School Year
The Socrates Hellenic School offers a Greek language and heritage program for students from JK until Grade 12, placing an emphasis on oral communication skills. The program also includes Greek dancing.

The school is currently in its 30th year of operation and is a registered non-profit organization administered by a parent committee.

The Parents Committe Needs Your Help!
We are currently short parent members and this presents a major challenge. Without your support the afternoon program cannot exist. Please support our school by offering a couple of hours a month of your time to help with our projects.
How Can I Help My Kids Learn Greek?
1. Enroll your children in the afternoon program (12:30P.M. - 2:30 P.M.). The afternoon portion of the language program includes religion, history, culture plus an added focus on conversational Greek and homework support.
2. Help your children complete their Greek homework
3. Include the Greek language at home. Just adding a little more Greek in your children's daily life is a tremendous advantage. Make it a fun event ie. Dinner time is Greek time.
